Hey I put the first church talk badge on my myspace page, but it can't be clicked through back to here...is that because it already recognizes me as a member? Will other people be able to click through from my page and join? Let me know what you think or what code I can put in to make that work.
Thanks
Shannon

Rob,
I hope you get this, my computer is being stubborn. Good plug in your article about the Gophers' basketball team.

Hey do you know how to put that first church talk badge on facebook? I know how to put it on a webpage, but not sure if it's the same deal.

Thank you for your review. Another friend who came to First UMC of South St. Paul that day was Roger Fike from a Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights, a "bus buddy" of mine for several years when I commuted to Minneapolis where I worked at various law firms.

Roger has been going through chemotherapy lately with all its side-effects. My wife, Shannon (named by her father, a Navy guy, after a "lucky river" in Ireland which is now the hub of most of my company's work overseas) wrote yesterday to Roger about everything happening in our family, and he was quick to write back.

Everyone else just seemed to dwell on the condition Roger was facing, but I praise the Lord that Shannon converses with Roger about the future, about life, and does not dwell on what depresses us.

I am a lucky man to be married to Shannon, and I am honored that she blesses my friends through her outlook on life.

Thank you, Robert, for creating this space.

You are a God-send!

Please never forget that.

I would enjoy meeting you some day.

Blessings!

It was anything but normal. But I did drive around a little bit. Two blocked bridges (Robert & Wabasha and that was in the very beginning). Many police cars and cameras.

Rob,
Did you make it downtown for the RNC? I had the privilege of picking up my daughter from work. It was an interesting experience, one I hope to never see again.

It has come to my attention that there are some who are a little confused on how to post comments, start discussions, write a blog, etc. There really IS a lot of stuff you can do on this site and many ways to participate. To get all your specific answers handled, please go to the far upper left of whatever page you are on. Next to your name is the name "Ning." Click on it and it will take you to a page that has "Help" on the upper right center of the page. Go ahead and click on it and I'm sure most of your answers are there. Or call me. 651-755-5104(cell)

Well... there's always "Shake Those Hips" by The Rolling Stones. But there isn't anything in particular. Glad you like the site.

Hi Rob!

So sorry this has taken me so long, but I'm finally here.
I hear you cannot have your hip replacement scheduled now due to the issue with your gall bladder. If it's not one thing...

I will keep you in my prayers. Thanks so much for doing all this work with the website. It's terrific!
Any musical requests for this Sunday?

I know Jodelle is a shaker and mover in the Restorative Justice. Things sure have come a distance from my days as a schoolboy. Back then you either beat somebody up or got beat up. I like this way better, I think. There are times when I'd like to clock some of 'em (kids), though. I'd love to see people join this First Church Talk from all over the place. Don't be timid to invite people from Clark or wherever. The more the merrier and more interesting. When, by the way, did Restorative Justice start? Is it effective, do you think?

Thanks for the welcome. Although I'm a member at Clark Memorial, I do feel close to your church through its members and its support for SSP Restorative Justice.

Thanks for the welcome. Although I'm not a member at 1st Methodist, I feel very close to it through its members and the support it has given to SSP Restorative Justice.

Sorry I didn't "read" First Church Talk but clicked on it and now it is all there.
Please forgive me.

Wow, you have been busy. Thanks so much for doing all this work. Yah, I'd hate to start over. I do something on MS Publisher but people can't open it, so I copy it into Word and send it to them. You are connected to the church, you alone make it a Power of 6! (The job nobody wanted to tackle). Hugs to you.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! I saw a Great Blue Heron flying yesterday. I hope he finds food. At least the pond across the street thaws in the day time.
