Hello to everyone:

Luther Memorial Church will be having a vacation Bible school coming up June 9-12, 2008. Ages for the children are through 6th grade. Older children are welcome to come and help. Time will be from 9 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Cost will be $10 donation per child, $25 per family. Participants will bring their own bag lunch. If cost is an issue, please contact Verna Schwagmeyer@ 455-0428. This event will be run by the camp staff of Camp Onomia. These are experienced leaders and will do a good job. I suspect everyone will enjoy their time together.

We are actively a part of feed my starving children. Our son, Riley, has participated and I THINK there is an event coming up. Welcome aboard. You have much to offer, I'm sure. Go ahead and invite others, if you are so inclined. The more the better

What a wonderful idea if the Christians in South Saint Paul could wrap their arms around a community project that really helps people. I am thinking of a group getting together to help out "Feed My Starving Children" in Eagan or visiting long term care homes and playing games with the residents or singing to them. Perhaps, we can get together and designate a specific mission project all churches could sink their teeth into and donate time, money, or both. Does this sound like a possibility? Roger Schwagmeyer
