Frank Thomas just got let go by the Blue Jays. He hasn't hit well so far this year, but he's NEVER hit well early in the season. I think he'd look good up here and he'd get to hurt the Sox, his original team, a lot. Am I still talking to myself?

I am aware that I may be the only one here in this group and so I'll content myself with talking to myself (and the dog). As I look back at history, I would, in reality, put the '65 Twins up against anybody. My goodness: Mudcat Grant, Bob Allison, Jim Kaat, Earl Baty, Tony Oliva, Vic Power, Frank Quilicci, I mean my goodness! And the only team to beat 'em, and just by a whisker, were the vaunted LA Dodgers with Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, John Roseboro, etc. I must say I like the Twins today, but in '65. Wow

I don't think it has snowed this hard all season! Opening day, though, and the world is a little more balanced
